Int / Ir Ch Lechan Jarvis An Ch 03, 05 & 07 - "BEAR"

Bear was born in Derbyshire, England on the 18th October 2000, in the well known Lechan kennels owned by Pam & Stef Godber, we collected him and his sister Belle when they were only 7 and a half weeks old and brought them home to Ireland to live.  Bear has been shown extensively and has been very successful including winning the coveted CHOW OF YEAR 2004.  Bear has been a super dog to own and show and has won countless awards through the years, the most recent being Best In Show at the CCC of Ireland Chamionship show, 16th August 2008.

Bear left us this year on 18th September for Rainbow Bridge, we miss him so much!!!

A lovely message I received from a friend when she heard Bear had gone, anyone who knew him would love this :):

Dear Kerry
I am so so sorry to learn that Bear has passed on.  I know he was a huge part of your life and always will be.  I think there's always one dog that touches your heart in a lifetime, one which you are especially close to and I know that for you that was Bear.  For me it is Zeph and I know I will be devastated when he goes.
I'll always remember how stubborn Bear was and laugh that in the few times I handled him he never walked for me - always looking for you.  I laugh too at that time at SKC when he refused to walk at all cos the ground was wet, heaven forbid he got his paws damp!  He definitely had his own personality!
I wont say "run free" Bear cos I know that wasn't your style - you're a more take it at your own pace kinda dog!  Life was definitely on your terms!  No doubt you'll keep the Rainbow Bridge in line!
