Kerry Judging
Judging
To date I have owned 7 chows, 3 of which have gained their Irish and International Champion titles, and also Annual Champion for 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2007 and to top it of in 2004 we won Chow of the Year. I have also had 3 Samoyeds and 2 Siberian Huskies.
I have been judging for a while now and I am thoroughly enjoying it. My first judging appointment was in February 2004 at Open Show level, and again in March 2004, then in December 2005 I was passed by the Irish Kennel Club to award Green Stars in Samoyeds and Chow Chows at an all Breed Championship show, I have had a few other judging appointments in the mean time, however as our group systems are changing here from June, I will be progessing through group 5 which is the Spitz group.
I have attended seminars and courses in order to get me on my way which include the following:
1. Chow Chow Breed Standard Seminar - Speaker Mrs S Jakeman - March 2000
2. Hip Dysplacia & Cruciate Ligament Problems Seminar - Speaker Mrs K PArkhill BVMS, MRCVS - March 2000
3. KC Rules & Regulations, Ring Procedures and Practical Aspects of Judging - Speaker Mrs A Brown (KC Accredited Trainer) - March 2000
