About Us

We have a small kennel here in Northern Ireland which includes 6 Chows a Samoyed and 1 moggy cat.

Our extended family are our pets first and foremost, should they never win a thing at a show we still have the best dogs to take home :). 

We have had chows now from 1994 and fell in love with the breed from the time we owned our first, she unfortunately did not have a long life and passed away aged only 1 year, but that was it we were hooked on the breed.  I searched everywhere for a new Chow puppy and being scarce as they are I just couldn't find any!  We went along to a local dog show and saw all the wonderful breeds of dogs on show, then we met Josh our first Samoyed, he was 4 years old and being re-homed so we took him, then a few months later came Sasha our 2nd and only remaining Samoyed.  Finally in 1997 we found our second chow pup and from there our kennel has extended with most of our chows from the Lechan kennels or from they're lines.

Of course with all these wonderful dogs why not show them off, from the first show we went to where we got Josh, I (Kerry) had decided that showing was for me, I just couldn't wait to get entered into my first show and set of with the dogs.  Nothing much has changed I still love showing and we have great success with all of our dogs.

We have had a few other breeds along the way which included Harley our Pyrenean Mountain Dog, Jade the Alaskan Malamute, Nanook our Wolf and Storm and Dakota the Siberian Huskies.  But we are happily settled with the breeds we have now and wouldn't change them for the world.
